Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has unveiled a new initiative called ‘The Ten’. Aimed at emphasizing and recognizing the discovery of the top 10 sports cards in the market, this innovative program draws inspiration from popular lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”. Collectors who successfully pull one of these cards on the Fanatics Live app will be awarded with $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

‘The Ten’ will showcase a dynamic selection of 10 cards that will rotate on a monthly basis. These cards are specifically chosen for their popularity and rarity, and include gems like the 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list features a mix of legendary athletes such as Tom Brady and Steph Curry, as well as rising stars like Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe in MLB, and Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren in the NBA. ‘The Ten’ will encompass cards from a variety of brands like Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed that the goal of ‘The Ten’ is to enhance the collecting experience and give back to collectors and the hobby. The initiative also aims to encourage community engagement, allowing Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community to have a say in the monthly card selections.

In addition, ‘The Ten’ serves as a platform to promote new products and reignite interest in existing releases with chase cards. It provides dealers and collectors alike an opportunity to showcase these cards, generating excitement and fostering discussions within the community.

Fanatics Live plans to feature pack and box breaks, as well as special shows centered around ‘The Ten’. These shows will celebrate major discoveries and announce the upcoming cards for the following month. A dedicated webpage will be available to track the cards and their finders, adding to the overall narrative of the program.

Furthermore, ‘The Ten’ will focus on the stories behind the collectors and their finds, offering a unique storytelling aspect that sets it apart. Fanatics Live has experienced consistent growth since its debut, with an average watch time of 56 minutes, indicating its emergence as a community-focused platform. James Kollar expressed his excitement for the program’s potential impact on the Fanatics brand and the collector community.

As ‘The Ten’ launches, collectors and enthusiasts can look forward to a rewarding and exciting journey, with the chance to discover and be rewarded for finding rare and coveted sports cards. With monthly rotations and the opportunity to win $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit, ‘The Ten’ promises to be a game-changer in the world of sports card collecting.
