Tom Brady’s Final Patriots Pass Auctioned for Animal Welfare

Tom Brady’s final pass as a New England Patriot left football fans stunned, not because of an epic touchdown but due to a game-ending interception by Titans’ Logan Ryan. This interception marked the end of an era for Brady with the Patriots, concluding his 20-year tenure. However, this football is now ready to take on a new role, raising funds for animal welfare—a cause close to the hearts of both Brady and Ryan.

In the tense final moments of the 2020 AFC Wild Card Game, played by the Patriots against the Tennessee Titans, Brady’s pass intended for Mohamed Sanu was tipped and intercepted by Ryan, who returned it for a touchdown. This play not only sealed the Titans’ victory but also signified the end of Brady’s chapter with the Patriots. Little did anyone know that this intercepted football would soon become a symbol of hope for animals in need.

Following their paths to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady and Ryan found themselves teammates once again. During their time in Tampa, Ryan approached Brady to sign and inscribe the infamous football from that game-ending play. The ball now bears the signature of Brady, along with inscriptions marking it as his “Last Pass As A Patriot” on “1/4/20” featuring “Logan Ryan INT.” The autographed football gained massive attention on social media, becoming a viral sensation overnight.

In addition to their football careers, both Brady and Ryan share a passion for supporting animal welfare initiatives. Their involvement with the Tampa Bay Humane Society led to the Brady family adopting a kitten. Inspired by their shared commitment to animal welfare, Ryan has decided to auction the historic football through Goldin Auctions. All proceeds from the auction will go towards the Ryan Animal Rescue Foundation (RARF), a nonprofit organization founded by Ryan and his wife, Ashley, aimed at providing financial and educational resources to shelters and rescues, ultimately improving the lives of animals.

This significant piece of football memorabilia, a Wilson “Duke” ball, has been authenticated as the ball from Brady’s final pass with the Patriots and comes with a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) from PSA/DNA. It also includes a Letter of Provenance signed by Logan Ryan, solidifying its authenticity and historical value.

The upcoming auction presents a rare opportunity for collectors, football enthusiasts, and animal lovers to own a tangible piece of football history while contributing to a noble cause. Beyond a mere sports artifact, this football represents renewed hope for the countless animals that will benefit from the auction and signifies a fresh start for the player who intercepted the iconic quarterback.

Anticipated to attract widespread interest, the bidding for this football is expected to be spirited, given its remarkable backstory and the charitable purpose it serves. Those interested in participating in the auction can engage with Goldin Auctions, with all proceeds directly supporting RARF’s mission to enhance animal welfare.

This auction not only commemorates a pivotal moment in football but also exemplifies the enduring commitment of athletes like Ryan and Brady to make a difference in the community through impactful initiatives, such as supporting animal welfare causes.
