Leaf’s Baseball Card Sets Showcase Autographs and Top Prospects

Leaf Trading Cards is set to ignite excitement among baseball card enthusiasts with two highly anticipated releases that promise a treasure trove of autographs, top prospects, and exclusive inserts. The upcoming sets from Leaf, including Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium, are expected to captivate collectors of all levels with their impressive lineup of talent.

Kicking off the excitement is Leaf Metal, scheduled for launch on October 25. This release will be available in Hobby and Jumbo Box formats, with each box offering a unique selection of cards. The Hobby Box boasts seven cards, comprising four autographs, two base/parallel cards, and an exclusive “mojo auto.” On the other hand, the Jumbo Box contains 14 cards, featuring eight autographs, four base/parallel cards, a “pulsar auto” exclusive to the Jumbo Box, and a “slabbed auto proof.” Notably, all autographs and base parallel cards in the Leaf Metal set will be numbered to 35 or less.

Collectors will have the opportunity to chase after coveted cards like the triple autograph card showcasing the top three picks of the 2024 MLB Draft: Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns. The set also includes autographs from standout 2024 draftees such as Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, and Konnor Griffin. Moreover, Baseball America’s top-ranked prospect, Roman Anthony, makes an appearance in this release, along with other top prospects like Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, and Coby Mayo, as well as potential future draftees like Ethan Holliday. Rookies and recent grads like Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood add depth to this impressive lineup.

Following closely on the heels of Leaf Metal is the Leaf Press Pass Premium, slated for release on November 8. This set promises high-quality cards in premium boxes, with each containing six base cards and parallels, including five autographs. Notably, one autograph per box will be numbered to 25 or less, enhancing the exclusivity of this collection. Featuring a 100-card base set and a 100-card retro base set, collectors can also look forward to eight parallels numbered to 35 or less for each set.

Autograph enthusiasts will be delighted to find signatures from 2024 draftees like Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, and Burns, as well as future prospects such as Ethan Holliday. Additionally, veteran stars like Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan will make appearances in this premium collection. Autographs in the base set are numbered to 199 or fewer, while retro base autographs are limited to 49 or fewer. The release also includes a special “Press Box Signatures” insert featuring iconic names like John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully.

Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available for purchase on Leaf’s website and at major card retailers. With a stellar lineup that spans promising rookies to legendary veterans, these sets are sure to make a unique and coveted addition to any baseball card collection.
