NSCC Charity Auction Benefit Cleveland Area Charities – 2024 Convention

The National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) is set to hold a special charity auction during the upcoming 2024 convention in Cleveland. This year’s event marks the 44th anniversary of the National, and to celebrate, the auction will feature 44 unique items, including highly valued sports memorabilia and two original paintings by renowned sports artists. The estimated value for each painting ranges from $10,000 to $15,000, making them a must-have for avid collectors.

The charity auction, hosted by Pristine Auction, will take place from July 20, 2024, to July 27, 2024. Interested bidders can participate in the auction by following the designated link provided. Additionally, select items from the auction will be on display at the convention, allowing attendees to view the exclusive pieces up close.

Some of the auction highlights include an original painting titled “Cleveland Collage,” a LeBron James portrait, a Mickey Mantle signed baseball, a 1955 Bowman Mantle SGC 3 card, and a 1980 Topps Bird/Magic RC PSA 7 card. Other notable items up for auction are a Roberto Clemente lithograph, signed jerseys by soccer stars like Ronaldinho and Karim Benzema, and memorabilia signed by legends such as Hank Aaron and Usain Bolt.

In addition to the sports memorabilia, the auction will also feature collectibles from other fields, such as a Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi signed framed cuts, as well as a William Shatner autographed card. With such a diverse range of items, there is something for every collector’s taste at this exclusive auction event.

The auction aims to support three Cleveland area charities, including the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Inc., and The City Mission. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank works tirelessly to provide nutritious food to those in need, bridging the meal gap and offering resources for individuals to thrive. On the other hand, The City Mission focuses on assisting individuals experiencing homelessness, offering tailored programs to help them build stable and independent futures.

The NSCC expresses gratitude for the generous support received from bidders and attendees of the convention. By participating in the charity auction, collectors not only have the opportunity to acquire unique items but also contribute to meaningful causes within the local community. The NSCC is committed to supporting these charities and is excited to bring together the sports collecting community for a noble purpose at the 2024 National Sports Collectors Convention. Join in the spirit of giving and camaraderie while celebrating a shared love for sports memorabilia.
