Packers Players Spread Joy and Support Salvation Army Cause

Four Green Bay Packers players recently gathered at Lambeau Field Atrium to make a positive impact on their fans and community. A.J. Dillon, Bo Melton, Quay Walker, and Evan Williams signed memorabilia, creating lasting memories for fans while raising funds for the Salvation Army. The event not only brought joy to attendees but also supported families, seniors, and individuals in need during the holiday season.

Fans enthusiastically donated at least $50 to have their favorite sports memorabilia signed by the Packers players, knowing that all funds raised would directly benefit the Salvation Army. The money raised will go towards supporting local families in Green Bay and beyond, covering operational costs and ensuring a brighter holiday season for those in need.

Salvation Army Capt. Maj. Catherine Fitzgerald expressed her gratitude for the impact of the event, mentioning that nearly 8,000 children in the area will receive gifts this holiday season thanks to these donations.

For Michelle Stevens and her two sons, the event was a special opportunity they couldn’t pass up. Making a 45-minute drive from Two Rivers to Green Bay after discovering the event on Facebook, Michelle saw it as a chance for her sons to meet their NFL heroes in person.

Her sons, Morgan and Mason, expressed their excitement at meeting the Packers stars and getting their autographs. The experience was inspiring for them, showing that hard work can lead to achieving dreams.

The Packers players saw the event as a way to connect with fans and show their appreciation for the support they receive. A.J. Dillon, a participant in previous Salvation Army events, highlighted the importance of making fans smile and helping the community.

This autograph event is part of the Packers’ commitment to supporting the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, aiding families, seniors, and individuals in need in the Green Bay area. Other Packers players like Kenny Clark, Kingsley Enagbare, and Rasheed Walker have also joined similar events this holiday season.

Fans who missed this event will have two more opportunities to meet Packers players and get memorabilia signed on Dec. 9 and Dec. 16, with all proceeds continuing to support the Salvation Army.

For fans like Michelle Stevens and her sons, the event was about creating lasting memories and being inspired by their heroes. They will cherish these moments forever.

The proceeds from the event will help the Salvation Army provide essentials like food, shelter, and gifts for families in need during the holiday season. By uniting players, fans, and the Salvation Army, this event showcases the power of generosity in spreading joy and hope during this special time of year.

If you’re a football fan looking to give back, mark your calendar for the upcoming autograph events on Dec. 9 and Dec. 16. Together, we can continue to brighten the holiday season for those who need it most.
